Scenes from the Exhibition
February 27 (Day 1)
On February 27, my first solo exhibition in Itoshima began.
With no assistant, I decided to do my best preparing the venue on my own.
Setting up the venue took about three and a half hours.
A generous elderly building manager helped me.
Not counting my parents, the turnout was three people — on par with the turnout (four people) of a certain group's very first nationwide tour. (-_-;)
Because of budget and time, I had no room to put effort into attracting visitors.
I take this as a challenge for the future and will keep working hard.
February 28 (Day 2)
Rain fell with a spring storm.
March 4 (Final Day)
It was a very warm day, blessed with fine weather.
As a result, the final day drew the most visitors.
About Itoshima City
As an aside, Itoshima City was born from a municipal merger in 2009 and is said to be an easy place to live, with rich nature and an abundance of fresh seafood, farm produce and other ingredients.
Its beautiful coastline is one of Itoshima's representative sights, and because it is only 30 minutes by car from central Fukuoka, many people from all over Japan are said to want to move there.
For this exhibition, I am borrowing a facility of Itoshima City, the Ito Local Art Museum.
Thank you very much for your support.
