I Found the Kunimorishu Website!

Kunimorishu has finally started operating. Its website has begun recruiting members. The site was apparently opened on May 24, though I only found it in June.

So, What Is Kunimorishu?

As the name suggests (“those who protect the country”), Kunimorishu is a core group of private citizens who take concrete action — however small — to protect Japan. Joining means actually taking action, so it calls for a certain resolve.

Kunimorishu aims to do whatever it can to protect the country: admonishing corrupt politicians, business leaders and bureaucrats, and fighting an information war against “anti-Japan” companies and groups and against mass-media propaganda it sees as full of lies and deception. Its activities are wide-ranging — election campaigning, campaigns to unseat politicians it considers to be selling out the country, and other concrete actions — and it wants to become a group whose presence is truly felt.

So far it has not fielded candidates in national elections, but as an organization it appears to be steadily continuing its work.

I feel that to grasp the essence of art — something that seems meaningful yet isn't — you must face society: politics, economics, history, tradition, culture and ideas. So I write blog posts from time to time and take part in public discussion in my own way. (I also run a DIY YouTube channel.)
